Cerebral
Palsy Multispecialty Team
The Cerebral
Palsy Multispecialty Team is a program that includes several
specialty services for children with a condition due to central
nervous system damage. The major objective of the clinic is
to improve the child's freedom of movement, posture and function.
Patients are seen, on average, at time of diagnosis, at age
3, age 5, age 10, age 16, and age 20 by each of the services
in this half-day clinic. According to individual needs, a
child could be scheduled more or less often. Follow-up appointments
in other multidisciplinary clinics or with specific providers
are determined on an individual basis. Patients are referred
to multispecialty teams after completing the Intake
procedure.
