Throughout
Children's Clinics the philosophy of the medical home is in
operation. This is demonstrated by having a multitude of services
available within one facility. Appointments for the various
multispecialty clinics and clinical services are coordinated
in order to reduce the number of visits needed. The multispecialty
teams allow for visits with a team of professionals focused
on addressing the needs of a specific diagnostic group within
a single clinic visit. This clinical format supports the goal
of the Children's Clinics to provide accessible, family-centered,
comprehensive, coordinated, consistent, compassionate and
culturally competent services across a continuum of care.
