Neurocutaneous
Multispecialty Team
The Neurocutaneous
Multispecialty Team is a program that includes several specialty
services for children with a collective group of congenital
neurological disorders. The most common types of neurocutaneous
syndromes are Neurofibromatosis (types I and II), Tuberous
Sclerosis and Sturge-Weber. Patients are seen yearly by each
of the services in this half-day clinic. Follow-up appointments
in other multidisciplinary clinics or with individual providers
are determined on an individual basis. Patients are referred
to multispecialty teams after completing the Intake
procedure.
