Spina Bifida Child Multispecialty Team

The Spina Bifida Child Multispecialty Team serves children from birth to age 12 years with neural tube defects. The team strives to coordinate care for children with the complex medical needs associated with spina bifida as well as to provide education, support and advocacy for their families. Patients are seen yearly by each of the services in this half-day clinic. Follow-up appointments in other multidisciplinary clinics or with individual providers are determined on an individual basis. Patients are referred to the multispecialty teams after completing the Intake procedure.
