Operations
Clinical
Operations department directs and staffs all of the specialty
clinical areas, primary care, laboratory,and x-ray within
Children's Clinics. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) oversees
the delivery of services within the clinical operations areas.
Staff
within the department include Registered Nurses, Licensed
Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and Unit Associates.
Ancillary services, which include laboratory and radiology,
are provided by contract employees from affilitate organizations.

Services
provided in these areas are as follows:
- Medical/Dental
clinics
- Primary
Care
- Laboratory
- a medical technologist is available Monday through Thursday
to draw and perform a limited number of tests. Most tests
are sent to reference labs for processing. On Friday morning
a phlebotomist is available to draw blood.
- Radiology
- open Monday through Thursday all day and closed on Friday.
Specialized exams are not done here.
- Pharmacy
- Our pharmacy services are provided by Wal-Mart. Click

The Medical
Record, at Children's Clinics manages a key component of the
medical home concept; a comprehensive set of records unique
to each child. This form of record keeping greatly enhances
communication and coordination of care among all of those
involved in a child's treatment and care at Children's Clinics.
All inquires regarding copies of medical records, whether
incoming or outgoing, are handled by the Health Information
correspondence area.
