About
Children's Clinics
The Children's
Clinics for Rehabilitative Services has a long
history of serving the needs of children with special
health care needs in Tucson and throughout Southern Arizona.
Under
the umbrella of the Children's
Clinics, Tucson Medical
Center (TMC), University
Medical Center (UMC), Square and Compass and the pediatric
medical community in Tucson have developed a unified approach
to the care of children with complex medical needs. In addition
to comprehensive medical care, traditional outpatient rehabilitative
therapies, psychological, social services and educational
support are on-site for patients and their families.
The Children's
Clinics is committed to providing care using a comprehensive
medical home model. This means better coordination of services,
an expanded range of services available, and enhancement of
the multidisciplinary, family-centered philosophy of care
that has long been the cornerstone of the program. Our unique
facility provides more than 25 different medical and dental
specialty services and a primary care clinic dedicated to
the care of children with special
health care needs. Centralizing this wide range of services
allows our organization to foster the medical home concept,
which leads to better management and care of our children's
special medical needs.
