Systems Analyst

Development Specialist

Creates and implements an annual development plan, with emphasis on cultivation and stewardship of individual donors, corporate sponsorships, and grants. Prepares and coordinates direct mail solicitations. Maintains donor-related correspondence and files. Plans and coordinates donor prospecting and ‘thank you’ events. One or more years of experience strongly preferred.  Fundraising/development experience strongly preferred.  Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Medical Assistant – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Experienced providing verbal Medical translation services for providers.  Takes patient vital signs, performs routine clinical tests, and maintains electronic medical record in a clinic setting. Experience working with electronic health records helpful. Related experience, preferably working with pediatric population or an equivalent combination of experience and training.  At least one year front and back office experience. High School or General Equivalent Diploma.  Medical Assistant Certificate and CPR BLS required.

Registered Nurse Pediatric

(Per-Diem) 8-12 hours per week.  Bilingual English/Spanish helpful.  Pediatric patient care coordination experience preferred. Experience working with a computer and electronic health records helpful. ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing institution. Pediatric nursing experience preferred. AZ RN License and CPR required.

Director of Talent Development

We have an immediate need for a bright, passionate, experienced Human Resources professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Children’s Clinics is a local not-for-profit multi-specialty clinic, employing approximately 100 staff of nurses, support staff, medical/rehabilitative providers and administrators.

The Director of Talent Development will be responsible for defining, developing, managing and implementing strategic human resource initiatives that align with the organization’s vision, mission and values, while providing responsive, customer-oriented service to employees.

The Director of Talent Development is responsible for recruiting and retention, performance management, compensation and benefits, wellness programs, employment policies and procedures, training and development, and compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.

The Director of Talent Development reports to the Chief Executive Officer, works closely with the Chief Financial Officer to administer the Clinic’s benefits program, and oversees third party administrators and partners with the Director of Quality and Compliance to manage contract preparedness.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyzes current benefit plans and recommend new options and cost alternatives where appropriate. Researches and recommends viable wellness initiatives
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws/regulations while demonstrating “best practices”
  • Oversees organizational employee development and training, and serve as a resource for team leaders in handling employee issues, conducting evaluations, staff training, problem-solving and consensus-building
  • Directs all aspects of hiring, to include working with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and job advertisements, screening and interviewing candidates, and on-boarding new employees
  • Recommends, develops, interprets and clarifies employee policies and procedures
  • Regularly reviews HR metrics to identify trends and forecasts needs/gaps based upon upcoming business initiatives
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer
  • Manages all aspects of employee benefits, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 403(b)/401k, worker’s compensation

Minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent preferred in Human Resources, nonprofit management, business administration, or other related discipline. HR certification, e.g., SPHR is preferred.
  • Five years of professional experience across all HR disciplines, including employment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, training/development, and safety/health
  • Must possess strong management, interpersonal, analytical, organizational and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; confident in making presentations
  • Must be willing to work at a hands-on, detailed level when needed
  • Demonstrated skills in consensus-building and mediation in order to constructively address employee conflicts
  • Demonstrated skills critical for managerial success, including leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and highly developed personal, analytical, customer service and communication skills
  • Prior experience working with a nonprofit or healthcare organization a plus
