The Children’s Clinics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Manager of Nursing Services. Our preference is for candidates local to Tucson or from within the State of Arizona.

The Tucson Children’s Clinics is a welcoming, integrated medical facility for Southern Arizona’s children and their families. We have over 25 medical and dental specialty clinics, primary care, behavioral health and rehabilitation services under one roof.

As a member of the Clinical Operations Team, the Manager of Nursing Services reports to the Chief Clinical Officer, assisting in the organization and administration of Patient Care Services. Duties include; analyzing nursing and ancillary services to improve the quality of patient care and attain maximum utilization of staff time and resources.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required. Current AZ RN License required. MSN and pediatric experience are preferred. Two (2) years of leadership experience, Five (5) years of relevant nursing with mastery of the role and competencies for assigned area, teaching and interpersonal skills, and documentation of professional development are preferred.

The Children’s Clinics for Rehabilitative Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Communication Aide. Our preference is for candidates local to Tucson or from within the State of Arizona.

As a member of the Rehab Therapy Services Team, the Communication Aide reports to the Rehab Manager, assisting the Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologists in Patient Care Services. Duties include; planning, preparation, and provision of comprehensive communication services to eligible patients.

A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years related experience and/or training. Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credential or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech & Hearing Science, or related field, preferred. 2 years’ experience providing education, speech-language, audiological, or other health care services to the pediatric population, preferably including children with developmental delays and/or special health care needs, preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in American Sign Language preferred.

The Children’s Clinics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Intake & Care Coordinator.  Our preference is for candidates local to Tucson or from within the State of Arizona.

The position is responsible for all aspects of the comprehensive assessment of the member and their family, the annual assessments and or assessments when clinically appropriate.   The assessments include gathering data for a comprehensive psychosocial assessment, making clinical diagnosis and completing the service plan. This position provides direct services consisting of case management services to individuals and/or family members.  This position may also be involved in crisis services as appropriate or necessary. The individual in this position must meet all established guidelines and requirements including the timelines for referrals and written documents. The individual also must successfully complete all required training identified by the RHBA and AHCCCS.

A Master’s Degree in a field related to behavioral health is required.  Case management experience preferably with children, youth and families.  Prior behavioral health experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

The Children’s Clinics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Pediatric Physical Therapist.

The Tucson Children’s Clinics is a welcoming, integrated medical facility for Southern Arizona’s children and their families. We have over 25 medical and dental specialty clinics, primary care, behavioral health and outpatient therapy services under one roof.

As a member of the Outpatient Therapies Services team the Physical Therapist will join a strong transdisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and pediatric orthopedic conditions.  Therapist may participate in transdisciplinary medical specialty clinics, wheelchair, and adaptive equipment clinics, and pediatric orthopedic clinics. Experience with spasticity management (Botox, Baclofen, and intrathecal Baclofen pump), serial casting, adaptive equipment, and both pediatric orthopedic and developmental treatment preferred.  

Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in AZ.  Must have graduated from an accredited Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral level physical therapy program.  Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Children’s Clinics is currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Revenue Cycle Specialist.

The Tucson Children’s Clinics is a welcoming, integrated medical facility for Southern Arizona’s children and their families. We have over 25 medical and dental specialty clinics, primary care, behavioral health and outpatient therapy services under one roof.

This position is responsible for responsible for pre and post payment claim auditing of medical records and associated clinical documentation to ensure proper charge capture, billing in accordance with standard billing policies and reimbursement principles. This position is also responsible for managing Revenue Cycle Services, and working collaboratively with other departments in the resolution of billing issues and/or denials requiring clinical expertise, participating in external audit requests, and special projects as needed.  The Revenue Cycle Specialist will also serve as an audit outcome educator with clinical staff in clinic and department settings.

Completion of a two (2) year college preferred or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.  Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a hospital or physician setting with extensive Revenue Cycle knowledge.  Minimum of two (2) years of audit experience with a concentration in High Balance and Cost Outlier and/or facility based clinic audits.  Experience working with NextGen a plus. CPC or CCA required

The Children’s Clinics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Radiology Technician.  Our preference is for candidates local to Tucson or from within the State of Arizona.

The Tucson Children’s Clinics is a welcoming, integrated medical facility for Southern Arizona’s children and their families. We have over 25 medical and dental specialty clinics, primary care, behavioral health and rehabilitation services under one roof.

As a member of the Clinical Operations Team the Rad Tech provides general diagnostic imaging on pediatric to young adult patients using radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.  Assures the proper and safe functioning of equipment and accessories. Ability to operate a PACs system. Acts as a resource to clinical staff making sure that the physicians receive all the necessary x-ray images needed to properly diagnosis a patient.  

Two (2) year degree or Technical school.  Must have an AZ Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License.  Registration in the American Registry of Rad Techs (ARRT). BLS/CPR certification.  Knowledge of CPT codes. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

The Children’s Clinics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of RN Care Coordinator.

The Tucson Children’s Clinics is a welcoming, integrated medical facility for Southern Arizona’s children and their families. We have over 25 medical and dental specialty clinics, primary care, behavioral health and outpatient therapy services under one roof.

As a member of the Primary Care Team, the RN Care Coordinator reports to the Nurse Manager. As a complement to the basis patient intake process, the coordinator takes a more detailed approach to visit planning. This includes reviewing the medical record and coordinating the acquisition of patient records, procedure reports, diagnostic test results, data base information. Assesses and documents pediatric to young adult patient intake information and determines nursing actions required. To assure effective patient flow the coordinator provides supervision/guidance to Medical Assistants as needed.

A current AZ Registered Nurse License is required. ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing institution. 2 to 4 years pediatric nursing experience preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful.

Children’s Clinics is currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic hands on Business Services Manager.

Oversee the operations of key business processes that include coding, billing, and collecting of accounts, claims adjudication and processing.  Perform a variety of technically complex duties to review and analyze medical data, code medical diagnoses and procedures. Performs patient billing, including review and verification of insurance or payer accounts against program provisions for billing and follow up

Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills, decision making skills, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.  Responsible for monitoring and analyzing daily workflows and staff resources, suggesting alternative approaches to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Acts as primary program liaison for communication with state ADHS / CRS staff regarding reporting requirements and grievances.

Knowledge of CPT-4, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding is essential. A thorough knowledge of AHCCCS and CRS contract requirements is necessary.  At least 5 years’ experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
