The Children’s Clinics is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Physical Therapist.

The Tucson Children’s Clinics is a welcoming, integrated medical facility for Southern Arizona’s children and their families. We have over 25 medical and dental specialty clinics, primary care, behavioral health and outpatient therapy services under one roof.

As a member of the Outpatient Therapies Services team the Physical Therapist will join a strong transdisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and pediatric orthopedic conditions. Therapist may participate in transdisciplinary medical specialty clinics, wheelchair, and adaptive equipment clinics, and pediatric orthopedic clinics.  Experience with spasticity management (Botox, Baclofen, and intrathecal Baclofen pump), serial casting, adaptive equipment, and both pediatric orthopedic and developmental treatment preferred.

Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in AZ. Must have graduated from an accredited Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral level physical therapy program.  Current BLS/CPR certification required.  At least one year related experience preferred.

Full-time benefited position (30-40 hours Monday-Friday.)

Seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a strong inter-professional rehabilitative therapy team.  The OT will provide services to a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs.  The OT will provide outpatient services to patients that include disorders of cerebral palsy, spina bifida, autism spectrum disorder, and neuromuscular disorders.  Experience with splinting preferred.  Applicants must be licensed in Arizona or eligible for Arizona Licensure.  Applicants must have graduated from an accredited Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral Occupational Therapy program.

Summary:

Utilizes the electronic medical record to enter nutrition screening and assessment for patients using defined criteria.  Assists patients with meal planning and correct menus to be compliant with the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist diet plan.

Education and Experience:

Successful completion of upper level diet and nutrition course or completion of Dietetic Tech Registration program, plus a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.  Six (6) months food service experience in a healthcare setting.  One (1) year of experience preferred.  Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.  BLS/CPR certification required.

As a member of the Rehab Therapy team the Feeding Therapist will join a strong transdisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and pediatric orthopedic conditions. Participates in multi-disciplinary patient care planning and staff/parent education.

SLP or OT applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in AZ. Must have graduated from an accredited Master’s degree program.  Minimum two years’ experience with pediatric population preferred.  Current BLS/CPR certification required.  Knowledgeable in feeding treatment.  Spanish Language is helpful.

The Tucson Children’s Clinics is a welcoming, integrated medical facility for Southern Arizona’s children and their families. We have over 25 medical and dental specialty clinics, primary care, behavioral health and outpatient therapy services under one roof.

As a member of the Rehabilitative team the Dietitian will join a strong transdisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorder, neurogenic, orthopedic, sensory impairment conditions. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for the nutritional care of pediatric to adult patients with complex medical needs.  Will assess, plan, and implements diet recommendations.

At least two years’ clinical experience preferred. Experience with Electronic Health Record preferred.  Bachelor’s degree (BS) in dietetics or related field.  Registered Dietitian – American Dietetic Association.   Willing to consider registered dietitian eligible applicants.  Current BLS/CPR certification required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Language preferred.
