COVID-19 FAQs

What’s happening at Children’s Clinics now?

Children’s Clinics has taken several precautions to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff as we slowly begin to welcome our patients back onsite. While some of our patients require care that must take place in the Clinic, many of our services will continue to be available via telehealth. Our new, telehealth option allows our doctors to take care of you and your child from the comfort and safety of your own home. If you must visit the Clinic, all visitors will be asked to wear a facial covering. If you have questions or need to schedule an appointment, please call is at 520-324-5437.

What is telehealth and how does it work?

Telehealth is a simple and convenient way for you to see our doctors from anywhere. If you have access to a computer or smart device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) that has a camera and microphone, you can easily join a video call with your doctor. You do not need to download software or create an account, and all of your information is private and secure.

Telehealth services available NOW:

  • Behavior Analysis/Psychology
  • Developmental Peds
  • Endocrinology
  • Genetics
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Primary Care
  • Psychiatry
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
  • Nutrition
  • Speech Therapy

To schedule your telehealth visit now, please call us at 520-324-5437 or email us at info@childrensclinics.org.

I have a fever and/or cough.

What should I do?

If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms including fever, cough, or trouble breathing, please call your primary care doctor immediately.

If your primary care doctor is at Children’s Clinics, call us at 520-324-5437. If your primary care doctor is not at Children’s Clinics, please contact their office.

If you are experiencing symptoms, and meet CDC criteria, Children’s Clinics can test you for COVID-19, but you must call us first.

What’s next at Children’s Clinics?

Like many in our country, we wish we could provide clearer answers about the future. What we can tell you is that we are committed to continuing to care for our patients as this situation evolves. We continue to follow updates from the CDC and ADHS daily.

We will continue to offer telehealth visits whenever possible.

As we slowly begin to welcome our patients back to the Clinic, we have implemented a comprehensive patient triage plan that prioritizes the services that must take place in-person at the Clinic. We will continue to provide updates as often as possible.

How can I help?

It’s an uncertain time for all of us, but we know this time will pass and we will be able to return to offering our children comprehensive multidisciplinary care and meaningful childhood experiences.

In the meantime, we are doing everything we can to provide care to our families. To support our medical team and the patients we serve, please consider making a gift to Children’s Clinics today. You can do so by donating online now or viewing our “Wish List” for items we currently need.

Other ways you can help:

  • Practice social distancing and stay home whenever possible.
  • Call your primary care doctor if you feel sick.
  • If you have a fever or cough, please call ahead before visiting your doctor.
  • Use telehealth and virtual visits whenever possible.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often.
